Update

Well, we took a trip. Before 10 days without my sewing machine I had to make one last thing. And then I almost lost it, not a high quality carabiner that it's attached to there. This owl resides in Alabama now :)

Pony was an amazing traveler. And she loved being with her cousins, we got back yesterday. I think she misses them. Today I made three more little owls, and appliqued something to a skirt I acquired while in the south. I might take pictures of them later.
